Just got word from Marketcircle that Daylite 3.7.5 is now available. The powerful productivity suite, which goes beyond contacts and appointments to include projects opportunities, now re-enables the Crash Reporter that was inadvertently disabled in a previous release, and includes other, minor bug fixes.

Daylite integrates with Apple Mail and works with iSync. The application can bring Daylite contacts and calendar features to Apple's iPhone and iPod, but also Blackberry, Palm, Windows Mobile devices and other cell phones. Business integration options include connectors to FileMaker database software, MoneyWorks accounting application and LightSpeed sales system. The productivity tools included with Daylite can identify and qualify opportunities while managing projects, calendars and contacts.

With the latest updates for the Daylite Productivity Suite, Marketcircle gives potential Mac "switchers" more reasons to make the leap from Microsoft's OS to Apple's. Daylite 3.7.4 added integration with Apple's full iWork suite, giving Mac users more cost effective options for correspondence sent to customers. Besides full support for Apple's iWork, Daylite 3.7.4 also included a connector to Dialectic, a telephony solution more powerful than anything else you'd find on Windows.

"Daylite deals with the sales aspect to business because that is a required component for the success of a small business - but it is not a sales tool specifically," Alykhan Jetha, Marketcircle CEO pointed out in an interview with Softpedia. "Daylite is built around a concept called the Productivity Pyramid and in that pyramid we have things such as meetings, tasks, notes, emails, contacts, users, projects, shared calendars and more." As for the tools and features that make the switch easier, AJ claims that Daylite now includes "refinements towards [their] goal of helping small businesses grow, to become more competitive, and to move forward."

The full interview with AJ is available here.

Daylite 3.7.5 brings the following bug fixes:

- Re-enables the Crash Reporter, which was inadvertently disabled in a previous release. - Fixed a crash on quit after a category was edited in the Preferences. - Fixed a lock bug when editing line items of an existing estimate. - Fixed a potential crash caused by incorrect Smart List settings. - Fixed a crash bug when Daylite encountered an invalid report template file.
