With every big company sensing the switch to Mac is inevitable for some businesses, Marketcircle has released Daylite 3.7.4 today, adding the ability to generate customized content using Apple's Pages, Numbers and Keynote. The productivity suite also gives Mac users more cost effective options for correspondences sent to customers, as Daylite 3.7.4 integrates with Apple's full iWork suite.

Marketcircle is a company best known for its Daylite Productivity Suite, but also Billings, a Mac app focused on sending professional invoices. Daylite integrates with Apple Mail and works with iSync. This way, the application can bring Daylite contacts and calendar features to Apple's iPhone and iPod, but also Blackberry, Palm, Windows Mobile devices and other cell phones. Business integration options include connectors to FileMaker database software, MoneyWorks accounting application and LightSpeed sales system. Basically, Daylite provides integrated tools and processes that identify and qualify opportunities while managing projects, calendars and contacts.

But this is just scratching the surface. Daylite 3.7.4 also includes a connector to Dialectic, a highly versatile telephony tool that unites users' Mac, data, and phones - mobile, landline, & VoIP - for more productivity. Dialectic supports both outbound and inbound calls using mobile phones, landlines and VoIP systems like Asterisk, Vonage, Skype, Cisco IP phones, Phlink, PhoneValet and others. Therefore, users will be able to call out right from within Daylite. The app can also be specified as a Dialectic contact source for quick and easy lookups and incoming caller identification.

Ultimately, contents of the Dialectic notepad can also be sent to users in Daylite and linked to the appropriate contact, project or opportunity records. Combined, Daylite and Dialectic can offer more compelling customized correspondence using Apple's iWork suite.

Generally aimed at small businesses, Daylite provides the necessary tools to keep a working environment truly organized and efficient. Marketcircle claims that the new version of Daylite makes the switch to Mac a lot easier, following the addition of these enhancements. Let's not forget that Daylite recently added improved Microsoft Word support as well.

Additional Daylite 3.7.4 features can be viewed HERE. A downloadable free trial version (good for 30 days and 25 simultaneous users) is available using the same link.
Daylite 3.x users should also note that 3.7.4 is a free upgrade for them, and a strongly recommended one at that.
