Certain rumors that the cult classic “Twin Peaks” directed by David Lynch is making a comeback on the screens are making rounds in the media. The event that sparked all this talk and controversy is a casting call put out by Sande Alessi Casting.

The call reads: “TWIN PEAKS PROMO. Directed by David Lynch. Shoots in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Prob a 6 hour or less day. Rate is 150/8. You must live in LA to submit... HOT Caucasian girl – BRUNETTE OR REDHEADS ONLY to play waitress. Age 18-27. MUST have an amazing body. Busty, very period looking face.”

It seems that a promo for Twin Peaks is shooting right now and the director is looking for a hot girl to play a waitress. The weird thing is that it's been exactly 25 years since the events in the show have taken place.

If you're a fan of the series, you'll remember that Laura tells agent Dale Cooper played by Kyle MacLachlan that she will see him in 25 years. And even if the series aired in 1990 and 1991, the action took place in 1989.

That's exactly 25 years from today and it's the reason why everyone is freaking out.

Rumors of filming the end to the series have popped up everywhere, although people directly involved in the process are denying a “Twin Peaks” finale is happening and are dismissing this shoot as a promotion for the “Twin Peaks” Blu-Ray set that is about to hit the shelves.

The series received huge critical acclaim when it originally aired, with the pilot being the highest-rated television event in the 1989-90 season.

It earned ABC its highest ratings in four years and went on to get 14 nominations at the Emmys.
