David Bowie is considered as one of the most influential rockers and writers of our times, being appreciated for both his music and his acting. But it's his number one fan, his six-year-old daughter, the one who probably loves him best, now that he has done what she bid him to. Alexandria Zahra is a big fan of the cult series 'SpongeBob Square Pants' and she and her rocker father tune in for every brand new episode, aired since 1999 on the children's channel Nickelodeon. With that in mind, Bowie said yes almost the same instant that he was asked to lend his voice for the series, to a character named Lord Royal Highness. On his official website, the rocker wrote: 'It's happened. At last. I've hit the Holy Grail of animation gigs. Yesterday I got to be a character on... tan-tara.... SpongeBob Square Pants. Oh Yeah!! We, the family, are thrilled. Nothing else need happen this year, well, this week anyway'. To his daughter's disappointment and of children all over the world, the episode for which Bowie collaborated will be aired next year, at yet an unspecified date. 'My character in this special long form (I think a half hour special) show is called "Lord Royal Highness". Alrighteee!! It won't air unfortunately for another eight or nine months but then, watch out. Or at least watch.', David wrote. Bowie's next on-screen appearance will be in the October 20 release 'The Prestige', where he will be seen next to household names like Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Cane and Scarlett Johansson.
