David Beckham’s Son Wants a Tattoo

It’s been just a few days since David Beckham showed off a new tattoo, a ring of roses on his upper arm, and the star reveals his boys too want to grow up to be just like daddy. Speaking with Matt Lauer of NBC’s The Today Show, the star revealed that eldest Brooklyn, who is just 10 years old, has already asked for a tattoo, as Monsters and Critics can confirm.

However, while David himself is clearly a devoted lover of this type of body art, he is not about to allow his son to get a tattoo too early in life. When asked by Brooklyn about when it’s time to start talking about him getting a tat as well, David, as they say, put his foot down. “One of them said to me recently, ‘How old do I have to be before I get my first tattoo?’ I was like, ‘A lot older than you are now!’” David told Lauer the other day.

The star, as fans must know, has many intricate inkings all over his body, the most visible ones being a sleeve tattoo on one arm and half a sleeve on the other, which he’s said to consider finishing sometime soon (wherefrom the newly added ring of roses). Wife Victoria can also boast a couple of tattoos, including one on the back of her neck, David’s initials on the wrist and another on her lower back. However, she’s said to be trying to convince David to stop getting more ink, since she would still like to see some patch of clear skin, sources are telling the media.

Also on Lauer, David also took his suit off and handed it to the host, in what has been labeled in the media a very kind, unexpected gesture. Of course, that’s not to say he was left exposed for as little as a millisecond, since he made an impromptu dash backstage to change into jeans and a tee, so that he could give Lauer the suit, since he was so vocal about liking it.

Matt Lauer even joked about making a lot of money off the unexpected gift. “Afterwards, he came down in jeans and gave me the suit off his back. I am selling it on eBay, are you kidding me? His underwear is back in the dressing room.” he said at the end of the interview.
