David Beckham is said to have made £1-million every three weeks last year through wages, from his team Real Madrid and mostly from various sponsorship deals.
The famous football player earned a huge sum, according to a report unveiled by accountants of his company, Footwork Productions.
"We are very pleased with the result for the year", the accountants' report stated.
Beckham is the only shareholder in the firm, while his wife
Victoria is listed as secretary and his father-in-law Tony Adams is one of the two directors. The Real Madrid midfielder is estimated to be worth £65 million.
He has earned a lot from advertising for top brands such as Adidas, Pepsi, Gillette, Vodafone and Police sunglasses.
David Beckham is currently looking for a new contract in Madrid, which is rumored to be worth a massive £40 million ($69 million) a year.
The football ace has recently visited the London neighborhood where he grew up to look at his newly opened Beckham Academy.
The English captain stopped by to give soccer tips to children.
"Without a doubt, I always said that I wouldn't go into management. What interests me is the academy and teaching kids. I have always loved being around children",
Beckham confessed.
