One of Robbie Williams's dreams is to become a soccer champion. And, to fulfill it, he called one of the biggest players ever, Real Madrid superstar David Beckham.
At the Live 8 concert, Robbie caught David backstage and took the opportunity to ask the famous football player to help him. A pal of Beckham explains, "David and Robbie got chatting backstage after the Live 8 show.
invited Robbie to Spain, where he's promised to give him a tour of his club, Real Madrid's training ground, as well as teaching him a few skills. Robbie's already quite good at football but he's keen to learn from the expert.
The deal is, if David teaches Robbie some new ball skills, Robbie has to teach David how to sing."
According to website robbiewilliams-info.com, Robbie Williams is planning a tour of UK football stadiums next year after a tour across Europe, Asia and Australia to promote his new album Intensive Care. Intensive Care is due to be released in October.
A source said: "Robbie is planning a massive assault on the charts and the tour will be his biggest ever.
He's been out of the picture working on his album and can't wait to get out there and perform his new material. He will go all around the world with the Intensive Care tour but is planning to kick it all off in Britain."
