Even though all the ads were showing that Dave Chappelle will return with his show for a May 31 premiere, it looks like the comedian is missing for weeks now. A spokesman of Comedy Central declared in a statement that the show is suspended.
Says Mr. Fox, "Comedy Central has suspended production on the third season of Chappelle's Show until further notice. All parties are optimistic that production will resume in the near future."
In May , Chappelle came clean with his stress problems in a Time magazine interview, declaring "I'm not crazy, I'm not smoking crack,", "I'm definitely stressed out". The comedian went to Africa for a "spiritual retreat".
Comedy Central had signed a $50 million deal to keep "Chappelle's Show" for two more seasons. Dave Chappelle said at that time that he wants to return to his show, but he doesn't know when.
