Report says Lola would rather her mother acted her age and finally grew up

Being Madonna’s daughter must come with almost unimaginable perks but, according to a new report, it also has major downsides. Lourdes, or Lola, her eldest child, is extremely embarrassed that her mother won’t grow up and act her age.

The latest print issue of the National Enquirer (story via here) includes an interview with an unnamed source close to Lola and, apparently, she’s not happy at all that her mom insists on playing the cougar.

Though Madonna has often said that Lola considers her her best friend, the tab insists things aren’t quite like that: if anything, the teen would much appreciate it if her mom would finally start acting her age, and not as if she was 25 years younger.

Everything about Madonna bothers Lola, from the way she dresses in public to the young boyfriends she has and how she talks about them in the media, says the report.

“Lourdes is telling pals she wished her mother would change and be more like other moms,” says the unnamed family friend.

“Lourdes loves her mother, and her antics are nothing new, but now that she’s growing up, she doesn’t want anyone to start making fun of her mom and calling her a ‘cougar’,” says the spy.

Madonna’s latest boyfriend is just 25, which is less than half than Madonna’s age, 52. The one before was 23 and, as of late, it seems that the diva has no qualms about speaking about them with the press, even trying to make a point that they’re more than boytoys.

“Lourdes also wishes her mother would date men closer to her own age. Lourdes just wants their lives to be normal sometimes, but her mother never turns it off or tones it down — it’s always ‘Madonna!’” the pal further says.

Until just recently, Lola didn’t have a problem with Madonna’s ways in public but now that she’s growing up she doesn’t want to be made fun of because of something her mother does.

As she sees it, “she is more of a grownup than her mother” right now, says the spy for the aforementioned publication.
