More Android budget tablets are coming to the Indian market. Datawind a manufacturer already known for its educational Aakash tablets, has unveiled three more devices, the UbiSlate 7Cx, UbiSlate 3G7 and UbiSlate 9Ci.

The first one, the UbiSlate 7 comes with your average 7-inch touch-enabled display and packing a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of storage. It’s not here to blow your mind, but it will get you through a boring evening at home by yourself.

Up next, the UbiSlate 3G7 offers the same 7-inch touch screen display and a slightly better processor, this time a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 one plus 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. As suggested in the name, this slate offers 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and two cameras.

Last but not least, the UbiSlate 9Ci is the most interesting in the bunch. It offers a relatively larger screen of 9-inches and receives power from its 1GHz Cortex A9 processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. Unlike the other two models, which run Android 4.0, this one ships pre-installed with Android 4.1. All three models feature a MicroSD card.

Datawind offers a lot of pre-installed material to go along with these slates. Users will be able to take advantage of diverse study materials like the Test Preparation Tool and Free Higher Education & Soft-Skill Courses powered by CEC London. The Antivirus & Anti-theft Pack of E-Scan is also bundled with the deal.

Interested customers can already place a pre-order on the official ubislate.com website. The UbiSlate 7Cx is available for Rs 3,999 / $65 / €48, while the UbiSlate 3G7 comes at Rs 6,999 / $113 / €84. Last but not least the UbiSlate 9Ci costs Rs 4,999 / $81 / €60.
