Entrust's headquarters and its Canadian facility will remain operational

Secure ID solutions provider Datacard has completed the acquisition of Entrust, a company that provides identity-based security systems.

Entrust’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and the company’s facility in Ottawa, Canada, will remain operational. The two companies have a total of almost 2,000 employees.

By acquiring Entrust, Datacard is confident that it can strengthen identity and transaction security across all areas. The two organizations’ complementary technologies will help them enhance identification-security solutions.
