DataViz Brings Office-Friendly Software To Smart Phones

- Joins Symbian Platinum Program

DataViz, Inc. today announced that it has joined the Symbian Platinum Program to support the growing market for smartphones based on Symbian OSTM. Symbian develops and licenses Symbian OS, the global industry standard operating system for smartphones, to the world's leading handset manufacturers. As a
Platinum Partner, DataViz is extending Documents To Go and RoadSyncTM to the Symbian OS ecosystem. With smartphones based on Symbian OS, users have secure and wireless access to corporate e-mail, calendar, contacts, attachments and other office documents using innovative DataViz technology.

"This partnership reflects our overall commitment to "Microsoft Office" users in need of mobile access to their mission-critical e-mail, Outlook data and other business files. By utilizing the Microsoft ActiveSync protocol, RoadSync is the only commercially available software product to provide secure, wireless and direct synchronization with Microsoft Exchange 2003 without the need for a middleware server or desktop redirector. In addition, Documents To Go, through the employment of InTact Technology, provides a desktop-quality editing experience that ensures complete document integrity while using attachments.

Together these software solutions answer the demand for mobilizing "Microsoft Office Life" without any compromise for professionals on the road today," said Kathleen McAneany, Marketing Director at DataViz, Inc. "By becoming a Symbian Platinum Partner, we can further expand these software solutions and strengthen our relationships with mobile phone users, application developers, smartphone manufacturers and mobile operators."

As a Symbian Platinum Partner, DataViz also ensures the close integration of its solutions with Symbian OS-based smartphones. DataViz is committed to providing premium solutions that mobilize 'Microsoft Office' for today's knowledge workers and provide instant access to critical files and business data and will bring these benefits to the Symbian ecosystem. RoadSync and Documents To Go licenses are available for OEM, volume and end-user purchase.
