Data Crow 4.0.1, a media cataloger and organizer that can be used to manage all your collections in one product, has been released and is available for download.

Data Crow is an application that helps people keep track of their collections. Basically, this is a product that will allow its users to manage numerous kinds of items. It's also capable of connecting to online sources and provide more information about your items. It needs Java 1.6 (or higher) from Oracle, but that's just a small bump in the road.

According to the changelog, the error handling in case of duplication in the mapping tables for the upgrade has been improved, a performance bug in the quick view has been fixed, the Query Panel now shows error messages when it needs to, the properties overview now refreshes after deleting an item, the user mode is now applied properly without having to restart, and a number of errors that occurred due to existing module upgrade files have been fixed.

This latest update for the application can be installed over the previous version, but bigger upgrades, from 3.x to 4.x, should be made in separate folders.

Check out the announcement for a complete list of changes. You can download Data Crow 4.0.1 right now from the official website.
