It comes in 8, 16 and 32 GB capacities but it is a bit slow

One would think that no one would launch USB devices without USB 3.0 SuperSpeed support, but ADATA still felt that USB 2.0 was enough for its water-resistant DashDrive Durable UD310.

We can understand USB 2.0 on keyboards and mice. After all, 480 Mbps are enough for them.

Flash drives, however, especially large-capacity ones (8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB), will take ages to fill at that rate, especially if owners get the idea of copying a large movie on them.

Nevertheless, ADATA felt USB 2.0 was sufficient, so it left it at that.

On the bright side, the DashDrive Durable UD310 is very small, thanks to the chip-on-board (COB) manufacturing process.

The prices are of $7.99, $12.99, $21.99, respectively (7.99 / 12.99 / 21.99 Euro). The “sparkling jewel-like faceted end-cap” is a design bonus.
