14 DAY TRIAL // The other day on ABC’s Good Morning America, actress Reese Witherspoon tried to downplay her drunken arrest in Atlanta of a few days ago by saying she was so intoxicated she didn’t even remember half of the things she said.
Dash cam videos from the arrest have emerged online and, I just have to say this, she doesn’t look that drunk.
She seems, however, intoxicated enough to cause a ruckus and be extremely annoying. Check out the videos included in this blog post to see her try to convince the officer that she was entitled to be out of the car, even though he had specifically instructed her to the contrary.
At one point, Reese also tries to lie her way out of the predicament (her husband Jim Toth was being arrested for DUI) by saying she’s pregnant.
My favorite part is when Jim, who’s being very composed about the whole thing, shrugs and tells the cop that, “Man, I had nothing to do with this,” referring to his wife’s outburst.
Jim pled guilty to DUI and she pled no contest to disorderly conduct. There will be no jail time for either, just some community work and a fine.
