Daryl Hannah, aka Elle Driver from "Kill Bill' series, announced she decided to quit movie business, arguing she wants to focus on saving the planet. The actress confessed that her latest movie, "Living Neon Dreams", will also be the last, until she has satisfied her need to protect the environment.
Even though her career blossomed and her part in Quentin Tarantino's martial arts epics helped her win a succession of high-profile film roles, Daryl is convinced she's needed for this rescue mission.
She explains: "Time has taught me to worry less about myself and be more compassionate about others' anxieties. I am more focused on trying to save the planet and other living creatures than on my career at the moment.
I won't be doing anything for a while because I'm focused on environmental issues. I live in a solar-powered house built with eco-friendly materials and things salvaged from a 19th century barn.
I also drive a 100% bio-diesel car. I try to follow this ideal through all aspects of my life."
