Welcome to the dark side, we have… punches! Darth Vader’s wife, Mrs. Vader, became the unwilling recipient of a punch after she stepped in and tried to break up a domestic dispute.

They don’t say that “no good deed goes unpunished” for nothing.

Before you head on to your “Star Wars” movie collection to try and find out who could this mysterious and brave woman be, you should probably know that it happened on the other side of the screen, in real life.

Darth Vader is actually a man from England, who, until not long ago, went by Mark Nokes until he decided to legally change it to Darth, for the obvious reasons, we assume.

His good friend, Ikbal Hare, believed he might have been canoodling with his girlfriend and would not let go of the issue until he confronted him with it, The Huffington Post reports.

In the ensuing scuffle, Mrs. Vader got hit in the face.

“Hare confronted Vader and took a swing at him, but missed and hit Vader's wife in the cheek,” the Post writes. Mrs. Vader was actually trying to break up the fight.

“Prosecutors [say] that Hare fled and escaped, despite being chased by several people (and a dark lord of the Sith). Officers collared the assailant two days later at his girlfriend's house,” she who was suspected of cheating in the first place, adds the report.

“Hare pleaded guilty on Tuesday to the attack, and was slapped with an 18-month probation and an anger management course. Darth Vader, on the other hand, was not ordered to go to an anger management course,” the Post further says.

No word on how Mrs. Vader is doing, so we’ll just take the radio silence on her condition as a sign that she’s ok.
