THQ has confirmed that it’s going to release a special Darksiders II soundtrack album next month, alongside the actual game, which features an original score made by famous artist Jesper Kyd.

Darksiders II is set to deliver an intense hack and slash experience next month when it’s going to be released for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

In order to complement the gruesome action that players will experience while controlling the protagonist, Death, a special soundtrack is going to be released, made by Jesper Kyd.

The soundtrack is composed of 26 tracks, spread across two discs, and is already available for pre-order at different retailers.

As always, the album will also be released across a variety of digital music services, like iTunes, as well as other websites.

Both Darksiders II and its special soundtrack are out on August 14, in North America, and August 17, in Europe and the rest of the world.
