THQ and Vigil Games have just posted a brand new live action trailer for their upcoming Darksiders II hack and slash experience, this time portraying the last sermon delivered by a monk, while the game’s protagonist – Death – is destroying all sorts of demons.
Darksiders I impressed a lot of people largely because it borrowed many elements from all sorts of other games.
With
Darksiders II, Vigil Games wants to deliver a more original experience with a story running parallel to the one from the first title and with a new protagonist, in the form of Death.
We have already got to admire the horseman of the apocalypse thanks to a series of cinematic videos earlier this year, but now a new live action trailer has appeared.
In it, a monk played by Games of Thrones star James Cosmo, delivers a feverish sermon, while Death shows off his many talents.
Darksiders II is scheduled to appear this August on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Until then, check out the trailer above.
