THQ and Vigil Games have confirmed that the next DLC pack for Darksiders 2, The Demon Lord Belial, is out today, December 4, on the PC and Xbox 360 worldwide and on the PS3 in North America. European PS3 owners need to wait until tomorrow, December 5, to get their hands on the add-on.

Darksiders 2 came out back in August and delivered a rather lengthy single-player campaign that put players in the shoes of Death, one of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Since then, developer Vigil Games has released quite a few downloadable add-ons for the game, including new gear for Death and new adventures, like the Argul's Tomb DLC.

Now, the next expansion for the game – The Demon Lord Belial – has just received an actual release date as well as quite a few details.

According to the official website, Darksiders 2: The Demon Lord Belial is out on December 4, worldwide for PC and Xbox 360, as well as for the PS3 in North America. European PS3 owners need to wait until tomorrow to get the new add-on.

Check out the full description of the upcoming expansion below:

"Little has been said of the struggles on Earth besides the story given to War by the Charred Council. Rumors have now surfaced that perhaps the Third Kingdom was not completely destroyed, and remnants of humanity still yet survive! It falls upon Death to seek out the truth and unearth a forgotten evil… The Demon Lord Belial. Uncover a new adventure based on a ravaged post-Apocalyptic Earth, where Death will encounter the last remnants of humanity as well as one of his most sinister opponents yet."

The Demon Lord Belial add-on will be released via Steam for PC, Xbox Live for Xbox 360 and PSN for PS3. The expansion costs $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points for regular owners of the game while those who got the Season Pass receive it for free.
