Darksiders 2 Gets New Cinematic Commercial

THQ and Vigil Games have released a brand new TV ad for their upcoming Darksiders 2 hack and slash game, showing off some impressive cinematic footage with Death as he goes up against all sorts of monsters.

Darksiders II takes place at the same time as the original game, only with a new protagonist, as Death takes over from his brother, War, and tries to clear his name by going on an epic quest through mythical realms.

The hack and slash game is set to appear later this month, so THQ and Vigil have begun the media onslaught with new videos, details, and screenshots.

Now, a fresh commercial has been released in the U.S., showing off the gruesome powers of Death and his impressive combat skills.

While the video is a cinematic, it’s still quite impressive and will no doubt get people interested ahead of the game’s launch on August 14, in North America, and August 21, in Europe.
