14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new gameplay video from the upcoming Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin has made its way to the surface of the Internet, giving us a better look at the action waiting for us.
Dark Souls 2 was released in March 2014, as the follow-up to Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls, highly acclaimed action role-playing games, famous for their unforgiving nature.
The series has become legendary on the back of its unique atmosphere, obscure overarching storyline that is gradually revealed to the player through subtle hints, as well as on the difficulty of its demanding but inventive boss fights.
The new video offers us a glimpse of the NPC invader system, showing how The Forlorn hunts down the player with deadly skill.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is due out this April, coming to PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The new incarnation will come with a significant graphical upgrade on PC and new-gen consoles, making the game look more like the initial reveals.
Many gamers criticized developer From Software for downgrading the graphics substantially in the final version of Dark Souls 2, compared to the footage released when the game was first announced.
Hopefully, the repackaged version of the action role-playing game will offer a much more pleasing visual experience for fans of the series. On PC, the game will take full advantage of the power of DirectX 11.
Scholar of the First Sin will mark the game’s debut on the PS4 and Xbox One home consoles and will contain the Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King expansions.
In addition to the overhauled visuals, developer From Software and publisher Bandai Namco Games promised improved gameplay mechanics, more responsive controls, and some new content, including an expanded story and some new in-game events.
