The development team at From Software and publisher Bandai Namco are delivering a launch trailer for the PC version of Dark Souls 2, which is now available and allows players to experience the title that is already offered on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.

The footage shows the quality improvement that gamers can enjoy and the two companies state that gamers will be able to make full use of a mouse and keyboard setup while also benefiting from a smoother frame rate.

The trailer contains some spoilers, so some fans might want to skip it if they are interested in the story of the game.

Dark Souls 2 manages to keep the difficulty level of its predecessor while delivering a more engaging game world and some tweaks to the core mechanics that make the entire experience easier to enjoy.

Despite the fact that the title has only been launched for a short while on the PC, gamers are already reporting a host of problems, including crashes and situations where the mouse and keyboard cannot be used to actually play the game.

Before launch, From Software had promised that the PC version of Dark Souls 2 would enjoy a smoother release than its predecessor, which was also affected by plenty of issues and failed to deliver enough customization.
