Spacetime Studios has teamed up with Google to offer Android enthusiasts who like to often play on their mobile devices while on the go, a disturbingly dark MMORPG, “Dark Legends.”

Although the game is now available for Android platform, Spacetime Studios also launched a desktop version simultaneously, which can be played on PC, Mac and Linux platforms.

According to Spacetime Studios, its Legends series of games are the only MMOs that allow users to play the same game together on different platforms, such as desktop computers, smartphones and tablets.

“Dark Legends” is a free-to-play vampire horror MMORPG, set in a full set of dangers, modern-day urban environment where “Masquerade” is a thing of the past and humans are fully aware of vampires’ existence.

Just like Kate Beckinsale in “Underworld: Awakening,” players must battle to survive in a world that fears and hates vampires.

However, you’re just a recently sired vampire who needs to evolve in a battle-hardened veteran in order to successfully face bands of “well-armed humans, hordes of the undead, packs of werewolves, covens of warlocks and legions of demons.”

While “Dark Legends” is free to play, allowing players to achieve maximum experience and power level at no cost, the developers also offer paid content, which is meant to save players time on their progress around the world.

Those who are willing to invest real money in this game through in-game micro-transactions will be able to improve their play experience with vanity items, health packs and premium revives.

“Dark Legends” is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.

Google Play and the Chrome Web Store allow us to upload and update our online, multiplayer games instantly. Their immediate and unified environment fits perfectly with Spacetime’s ability to push global content to our suite of games on-the-fly across mobile and desktop. We’re both at the forefront of creating cross-platform gameplay that connects players in a much deeper online experience, anywhere and on any device,” said Gary Gattis, CEO of Spacetime Studios.
