14 DAY TRIAL // Police are releasing the gruesome details of the murder of school teacher Colleen Ritzer in Danvers, Massachusetts.
14-year-old Phillip Chism followed Ritzer into the women's restroom, then slashed her throat. He used a box cutter to cut her throat, after reportedly punching her in the face.
Fox News added that the teacher's remains were placed in a recycling bin and carried behind Danvers High School, to a wooded area.
Blood has been found in the bathroom, which is located on the second floor. Investigators found the body where it was left by Chism.
The teenager will be tried as an adult. He has pleaded not guilty, and the court will be conducting a mental evaluation.
Reports about the Danvers homicide show that the suspect has watched a movie after committing the crime.
