Daniel Radcliffe is itching to become a dad before his ‘30s, he admits in a new interview cited by The Independent. At the same time, he admits he’d revisit the “Harry Potter” film franchise, but not as the boy wizard he became famous (and rich) for playing.

Instead, he’d probably agree to play the dad, in the “unlikely” event that JK Rowling ever wrote a sequel / spinoff book.

“No more schoolboy stuff. A cameo as Harry’s dad? That would be perfect!” Radcliffe enthuses in the interview.

While that’s something that fans would certainly pay to see, it’s so far into the future it’s not even an actual possibility right now.

Radcliffe has moved on from the film franchise and is slowly but steadily building a name for himself as a versatile and very dedicated film and stage actor. Fatherhood, he says, is also in the books for him.
