Daniel Radcliffe Thinks Justin Bieber Is a Woman

Millions of teenage girls from all over the world would scream at the top of their lungs if he ever was in a 5-mile area of them, but there is one person in this world who doesn’t know who Justin Bieber is. Speaking with MTV News for a series of interviews, “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe made a rather startling revelation: he thought The Biebs was actually a woman singing, AceShowbiz informs.

After dishing on his plans for the future, now that “Potter” has wrapped production and his intention of not getting mixed up in another franchise for the time being, choosing to stick instead with independent movies, Radcliffe dropped the bomb about Bieber. As he put it, the first time he heard him sing, he thought he was a woman. Then again, neither Bieber nor his fans should take offense because Daniel is not the expert in pop music, and he’s the first to admit to that.

“I only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing,” Daniel says of what he made of Justin’s voice upon a first listen. “I’d never heard it before. Is it big in England yet? I’m so out of the loop when it comes to pop culture that I kind of don’t even try anymore,” he goes on to say, explaining the very solid reason why he’s not up to date with these things.

Still, Daniel Radcliffe is not as out of the loop as he tries to appear: for instance, not only does he know who Lady Gaga is, but he also appreciates her music even though it may not be his cup of tea. “She’s really got a voice. My god. Not my kind of music particularly but she can really sing,” the actor says, adding that he finds the outrageous singer quite “amazing.” As of now, Justin Bieber has not responded in any way to Daniel’s comments, the aforementioned e-zine further says.

Daniel Radcliffe will be seen next in the Broadway production How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, where he plays a window cleaner. Because his role also includes a couple of appearances onstage without his shirt on, it is believed that Daniel has set a new fitness goal for himself: to get a body as ripped as Cristiano Ronaldo’s, as we also informed you a while back.
