Daniel Radcliffe will most definitely not revisit the Harry Potter franchise, assuming someone thought a new installment would be a good idea. However, he’s not opposed to doing more film franchises, even if he would not play lead.

“Franchise mustn’t become a dirty word,” the actor says in a new interview cited by Us Weekly.

If done right, a franchise can be the most amazing experience both for the people working on it and for the fans paying good money to come along on the ride.

Speaking of which, “Star Wars” is one franchise Daniel would love to have the chance to work on.

“If directors like J.J. Abrams and Joss Whedon keep doing what they're doing, it won't be. I'd love to be part of one again. Maybe not leading it: a nice supporting role. In Star Wars? Yeah, that'd be awesome. That'd be crazy cool,” Daniel says.

Perhaps Abrams is reading this right now. If so, Mr. Abrams, forget about Jonathan Rhys Meyers and just hire Daniel instead.
