Daniel Craig (Layer Cake, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) is set to join Nicole Kidman in Warner Bros. Pictures' "Invasion", directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie based on David Kajganich's screenplay and produced by Joel Silver ("The Matrix" trilogy), is a sci-fi thriller, which tells the story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. A Washington D.C. psychiatrist (Kidman) discovers that the epidemic's origins are extraterrestrial, and she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping an imminent invasion. The woman has the support of his colleague and love interest, played by Daniel Craig, who teams up with her to fight the invasion. Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Birtish actor is filming for Steven Spielberg's "Munich" and for Douglas McGraths' "Have You Heard?", in which he plays the part of a convicted murderer, Perry Smith, who gets close to the writer Truman Capote.
