Keep an eye out for Danica Patrick on December 10 because she’s just been confirmed as co-host of the Country Music Awards, the 2013 edition. Her partner in crime will be Trace Adkins.

Confirmation comes straight from the organizers via NASCAR.com.

The gala will air live from the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay resort, and is bound to get even more people tuning in now that Danica is on board.

In a statement accompanying the announcement, Trace says he’s eager to take to the stage for the big event and jokes that he might not be able to keep up with such a racing superstar as Danica.

Danica has no doubts that he’ll do a fine job.

“I'm so excited to host the American Country Awards with Trace Adkins. I have no doubt he'll be able to keep up with me. I've become a huge fan of country music since I came to NASCAR. This is going to be a really cool experience and I'm excited to be a part of it. It's going to be a great show!” Danica gushes.
