NASCAR driver and overall hottie Danica Patrick is single again, in the sense that she’s not legally married anymore, because she’s already dating someone else. Her divorce from Paul Hospenthal is final, it has emerged.

Danica rarely speaks about matters pertaining to her personal life, which, ironically makes interest in it even bigger.

In November, she announced that she and husband of 7 years Paul had decided to end their marriage and go their separate ways.

USA Today confirms that the divorce has been pronounced final.

“Patrick's divorce from Paul Hospenthal was finalized on April 17, according to documents filed in Maricopa County (Ariz.) Court. The documents said the marriage was ‘irretrievably broken’ and reconciliation was not possible,” the publication reports.

“According to the documents, Patrick and Hospenthal entered into a prenuptial agreement Nov. 11, 2005. The couple had no children together,” USA Today says.

A prenup ensured that there were no disputes over money or estate at the time of the divorce, but court documents indicate that, either way, the two were bent on an amicable separation.

“Arizona is a no-fault divorce state, and the parties agreed neither was at fault. The documents also indicate Patrick and Hospenthal ‘participated in the mediation process in order to arrive at a fair and equitable settlement’,” says the same media outlet.

Even before she filed the divorce papers in January, Danica had already found love in the arms of another man, which could mean things between her and Paul had been over for some time.

She is now dating fellow driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and, USA Today points out, she’s been very talkative about the blossoming romance, which is a sharp contrast to how she was when she was with Paul.

For instance, she said they bonded over the winter holidays and became inseparable shortly afterwards. She also laughed off talk that dating a fellow driver would be in any way more difficult than dating a “regular” guy.
