California-based dance group Bandaloop showcased this amazing vertical performance at the FirstWorks Festival, in Providence, in the American state of Rhode Island.

Bandaloop started in Oakland, CA and view themselves as pioneers in “turning gravity sideways” with their intricate, vertical dance routine.

This year's edition took place on Saturday, September 29, in Kennedy Plaza. Dancers performed complex moves down a 30 story, 413 feet (125 meters) building, in the Financial District.

200 performers participated in the 2012 Rhode Island festival. FirstWorks reps collaborated with Providence's Department of Art, Culture & Tourism, to bring together artists for a free display of their skills.

FirstWorks is a non-profit arts organization that tries to bring art and culture to the Rhode Island Community. According to first-works.org, since starting in 2004, they have organized 22 arts festivals, in which they have presented over 345 international artists, attracting more than 107,000 participants.
