Users can download the latest version of the distribution from Softpedia

Damn Small Linux, a very versatile 50MB mini desktop oriented Linux distribution initially developed as an experiment, is now at version 4.11 RC2.

The developer of DLS (Damn Small Linux) 4.11 RC2 has tried to make the new version of the distribution a little friendlier to legacy hardware.

Highlights of Damn Small Linux 4.11 RC2:

• apt-restore command has been fixed; • The default mirror has been updated to the ftp link becasue it has been more reliable; • Some unused files have been removed in order to tighten up the distro a bit; • A syslinux version has been added as requested.

Download Damn Small Linux 4.11 RC2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
