New developments in the case of the Justin Bieber egg attack. It now looks like the damage caused by Bieber's “aviary bombs” exceeds the $400 (€292) needed to turn the attack from a misdemeanor to a full-fledged felony.

After being told by police to give a full assessment on the damages and present them with a repair estimate, the attacked neighbor gave out the final tally at $20,000 (€14,627).

According to TMZ, this includes a full renovation of the front of the house that was seriously scarred in the attack. This amounts to $15,000 (€10,970) from the total price tag. The reason why it's so expensive is because the house had Venetian plaster on its front and it needs to be entirely redone.

Next on the damages list is the $5,000 (€3,656) needed to repair the entry to the house and several other doors that need to be re-stained. The doors were the main target of the egg attack.

Now, law enforcement officers are said to be fast-tracking the investigation, looking to get Justin Bieber formally charged for this assault. His antics have caused them several mishaps in the past, but he has somehow always manage to elude punishment.

According to local laws, if the amount of damages exceeds $400 (€292), the misdemeanor turns into a felony, and the person responsible could be looking at jail time, if the judge sees fit.

This piece of news comes to give further details into the case of Justin Bieber's infamous egg attack. Last week, the singer took out his frustration on one of his neighbors in the exclusive gated community located in Calabasas, by throwing 20 eggs at his house in the middle of the night and then running off.

The neighbor went outside after he heard something knocking on the side of his house, and was met with a barrage of eggs, this time aimed at himself. He called police and even managed to get video of the confrontation, though Justin is not visible in the footage.

However, the singer's voice can be heard in the background, threatening the neighbor he will throw more eggs and then adding some profanities.

Now it's being reported that despite all the damning evidence, Justin hasn't even called his neighbor to apologize, let alone confess to the attack. His representatives have not made any official statement yet.

Stay tuned for further development.
