Dakota Johnson, a model and an actress, has been cast as the fidgety Anastasia Steele in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie and, while she’s proud and happy to have landed the role, she says she doesn’t want her parents to see it.

Above is the first photo of Johnson in character, in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. In an accompanying interview, she admits that she will not ask her famous parents, Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, to watch her film.

Having read E.L. James’ trilogy of novels, I can’t say I blame her, especially since word has it producers will keep the film true to the book as much as possible.

“I'm obviously not going to invite them to take part in this experience. I don't need to watch movies of theirs where they do things like this. Why would you want to watch that?” Dakota says.

However, that’s not to say she’s ashamed of the movie she’s about to make and which will, most certainly, turn her into a huge star.

“I'm not afraid of this story. I understand this girl and I get it,” she says in the same interview.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” also stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. He too isn’t “afraid” of the story and is actually looking forward to doing the more revealing scenes.
