Daddy Angelina Goes to the Front - Better Hope the Wind Doesn't Blow Her Away

Meanwhile, "mummy" Brad is home with the kids

Angelina's left the States, but you won't believe where she's headed off to this time. No, as far as we know she's not on that adoption-hunting again and we all hope this means she's finally made up her mind about adopting Britney's kids. So, where exactly did she head this time? Oh, I forgot you read the title - yes, well she went to the front. And with that fine little nose of hers, she managed to pick out one of the finest fronts in the business. She's in Iraq (gulp) and also visiting some refugee camp in Syria. But the answer to the silent question is "yes". Yes, folks, a soldier's dream does come true from time to time. Just look at the face of the guy standing next to Ange in one of the photographs and you'll get my meaning. How many times in his life does a guy get to stand near such a (skinny and possibly very ill but nevertheless sort of sexy) hot babe?

And yes, Angelina seems to be doing her best to fight against the rumors that were flying around just days ago about her being very ill with a liver disease of some sort. And while she still looks like she could use a few good meals, Angie doesn't fall behind on her duties to the UN, for which she's been a goodwill ambassador since early 2001. And even though sometimes I can't help wondering if Angelina isn't trying to bite off a little more than she can chew, I have to hand it to her. She looks professional and ready for business. I do have some fears regarding her safety though - not from murderous terrorists who might try to kidnap her, but from the sun and the sand and the wind. What if she gets blown away by a gust of wind? You may call me seriously paranoid, but this lady has a knack for pushing things - her health included - to the extreme.

In the meantime, husband (more like wife) Brad Pitt is at home with the kids and doing everything a responsible mum (I mean dad) has to do, including hanging out and spending some quality one-on-one time with the four brats. And patiently waiting at home for Ange's return. I would dare to add that from what we have been hearing about their marriage lately, maybe the guy is happy to have a break and be on his own for a while. Plus it's got to be pretty strange seeing your wife on TV doing Iraq while you're sitting at home mixing baby formulas. OK, maybe I pushed that metaphor a bit too far. Sitting at home babysitting. That's more like it. And while we're all so immersed in the daily business of the Jolie-Pitt couple, I can't help noticing that lately, it's been more about who's taking which kid where rather than which glamorous party the former Mr. &Mrs. Smith attended and what they were wearing. Remember that clich� about every marriage ending up like this? Brad and Ange can now officially confirm that there was at least some truth to it.
