A heartwarming and supportive letter from a father proves that a dad's love for his son goes beyond the latter's preference for men.

Clothing line FCKH8, which sells T-shits with messages such as “Some duded marry dudes. Get over it” has posted the note on their Facebook account.

It going viral with over 12,000 likes and 8,000 shares is a testament to tolerance and support for the LGBT community.

The letter details how a father has known about his son's orientation long before listening to him talking to his boyfriend about coming out. He writes Nate that he has nothing to be worried about, and adds that him and beau Mike make a nice couple.

“I overheard your phone conversation with Mike last night about your plans to come out to me. The only thing I need you to plan is to bring home OJ and bread after class. We are out, like you now.

“I've known you were gay since you were six, I've loved you since you were born,” it reads.
