Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has danced his last on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, since the poor scores he got for the Argentine tango got him eliminated.

As The Sitch and Karina Smirnoff exited, Bristol Palin and her partner got to stay on the show for another week, as E! Online reports.

Despite the image he has built for himself, it turns out that The Sitch will be sorely missed, starting with his dance partner and ending with his rivals on the show.

“Mike did a great job. [He’s] definitely not a dancer, but he’s come a long way. This was short and sweet, but you’ve got to take it with a grain of salt,” Karina tells E! backstage at DWTS.

“I’m going to miss the real Mike, the real person, the sweet, charming guy,” she adds with regret. And she’s not the only one to feel so.

“I’ll miss his sweetness and his humor. I’ve never seen such a quirky guy in my life!” Jennifer Grey chimes in.

“He was a hoot!” Bristol Palin agrees – and the bursts out laughing at herself for using the word “hoot,” the same e-zine says.

A persistent pain in the neck prevented The Situation to talk to the media after the show, which is customary, his rep says – but the Daily Mail claims he was probably too upset with the judges to be nice in front of the cameras.

“I told myself if I got eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night. So if it [happened], I’d bow out gracefully,” The Situation said in a clip aired during the show.

Even if he still managed to remain polite and not cause a scene, the reality star let it slip that he believed judges had been a bit too harsh on him.

Sure, he’s the first to admit that he’s a very bad dancer but the least they could have done was throw in some positive feedback as well, instead of giving him only harsh criticism.

“The judges were so unpositive and didn’t even see the work I put in, didn’t even see the progress I made this week and you know what, you know what? I’m done with this,” the reality star said.
