DWTS Crew Relieved ‘Diva’ Kate Gosselin Is Out

Shortly after rehearsals for ABC’s tenth season of Dancing With the Stars began, word started to circulate online and in the tabloid media that not only was Kate Gosselin not the easiest person to work with, but, quite on the contrary, that she was quite a diva. She had made rules for everyone, which even included them not looking at her – so now they’re all relieved she’s finally been voted off the show, E! Online informs.

Reports have it that Kate, who has confidence issues (both in herself and in those around her), banned the DWTS crew from looking at her. She also did not want to be addressed but in a certain way that she specified, and would often throw tantrums because her wishes were not respected. Now that she’s finally gone, all staffers can breathe a sigh of relief, having one less diva to be worried about and treat with gloves.

“It took long enough, but Kate Gosselin’s incredibly awkward dance moves finally got her the boot from Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night. The mother of eight made drama waves before the show even got started last month, acting like a superdiva during rehearsals – and beyond – with all of her demands on set. Like, for example, how crew members weren’t allowed to look at her. Seriously,” E! says.

“Everyone couldn’t be more relieved. We all had to walk on eggshells around [Kate]. At least we don’t have to worry about where our eyes can or can’t drift off to now,” an E! insider on the show states for the e-zine. “Kate just thought that everyone was out to get her. That’s why she had all of those crazy rules, like how she was to be approached. [The staff] felt bad for the bad press she got, but sometimes it was deserved! She was not an easy person to work with,” the tipster further dishes out.

Earlier reports, when Kate was still on the show and her difficult temperament almost got partner Tony Dovolani to walk out on her and the tenth season of the show, say that she got so enraged that Tony would stand up to her that she even tried to have him fired from the show.
