DVDO Air Is a Wireless HD Video Streamer

Streaming media is great, but it relies on special equipment, like the DVDO Air Wireless HD device.

Essentially, this is a product composed of a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver and a receiver-mounting clip for easy positioning on a wall or the top of an HDTV.

It streams 1080p video in 2D or 3D and 7.1 channel surround sound, all at 60 GHz.

It also has no worries about interference, as its wireless band is above the frequencies used by other Wi-Fi systems or walkie-talkies and phones.

As such, it can efficiently and smoothly send data over distances of up to 30 meters.

The price is $399, or 302.82 Euro, but shipments won't start before March 6, 2012.
