The OS upgrade should become available for all users before the end of Q2

Motorola and Verizon might be finally on their way to start delivering the Ice Cream Sandwich software update to their DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX users.

The update was officially announced for these devices for the second quarter of the year, but time passed by and nothing happened.

However, it appears that Motorola has already started to release the Ice Cream Sandwich update to testers on its Motorola Feedback Network.

This means that the update could start arriving on more devices in the coming weeks, and that Motorola will be able to meet the announced deadline.

Testers are being handed firmware build 6.16.211, and this could be the final version of the OS upgrade, provided that it does not have major flaws inside.

Hopefully, it won’t be long before Motorola or Verizon makes an official announcement on the matter, so stay tuned.
