Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless might have finally solved its issues with the DROID Incredible stock. Those customers interested in purchasing the new device from the carrier's website would have it shipped by August 9, the operator states. This means that users would have to wait only three days to get their DROID Incredible unit, much less than those who ordered their device about one month ago had to wait.

It's a common fact that most of the stock issues Verizon had with DROID Incredible were caused by the fact that HTC experienced shortages with the AMOLED display component of the device, which was supposed to be shipped from Samsung. However, the issues were supposedly solved roughly a month ago, when HTC decided to pack Super LCD screens from Sony in some of its high-end Android-based devices, including the Nexus One or HTC Desire.

One thing that is certain is that the DROID Incredible is one of the nicest Android-based device on the US market: - 3.7" 480x800 WVGA Touch screen - Virtual QWERTY Keyboard - Camera: 8MP camera w/auto–focus and video capture - OS: Android 2.1, Google Experience Device - Integrated Google, Exchange & Facebook contacts - User Interface –next generation Sense UI - 8GB internal memory - 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor - V CAST Media Manager – Learn More - Embedded Ringtones, vibrate alert and silent - Up to 16GB of optional microSD support - Hearing Aid Compatibility = M4/T3 While the DROID Incredible is being shipped with less delays than before, another high-end Android-based device at Big Red is registering delays, namely the DROID X by Motorola. Currently, the handset would ship by August 24, which means that its shipping date is being pushed back by about three weeks. Verizon has had issues with DROID X' stock ever since day one, and it seems that they are widening. No info on how the carrier would plan on addressing these issues emerged.

DROID Incredible is available for purchase here, while DROID X can be snagged from here.
