Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has finally made the DROID Incredible by HTC available for its users. Only on a pre-order status on Verizon's website at the moment, the Incredible is set to hit the operator's stores on April 29, only ten days from now. Packing a fast processor inside, the latest flavor of Google's Android operating system, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper, the DROID Incredible seems set to soon prove one of the nicest options on the US market.

The new Android 2.1-based mobile phone can be ordered in advance for $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier, and after a $100 mail-in rebate. The full retail price for DROID Incredible has been set at $529.99. However, those interested in the device can pre-order it from BestBuy too, which has it available for the same $199.99 contract price, but with no mail-in rebate attached to it.

With a 3.7-inch OLED touchscreen display that boasts a WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack, 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, and 8GB of internal memory, DROID Incredible will certainly attract users on its side. Moreover, it comes with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space, the Sense UI software solution, great messaging capabilities, fast access to social networking sites and a wide range of pre-loaded applications.

Verizon Wireless kicked off the pre-orders for DROID Incredible only a few hours ago, offering users the possibility to get one of three other devices for free via the Buy One, Get One Free promotion. Those interested in learning more on the new device should take a look at the clips embedded below. The first one is an unboxing video, while the second one provides a glimpse at the Sense UI and software included with the device. Both videos emerged on Android Central.
