Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has started to push out a new software update for its DROID DNA by HTC users, after publishing details on it only several days ago.

The new release arrives on handsets as build 2.04.605.2, and is meant to deliver a series of improvements for the handset’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, among other enhancements.

Following the update, users should also enjoy better audio quality over wired headsets and earpieces, and more. However, this is only a maintenance update, so users should not look into receiving great new features along with it.

As Droid-life notes, the new firmware release should arrive on all devices on the wireless carrier’s network within the next few days, so users should simply sit tight and wait for Verizon to send the availability notification to them.
