Another day, another rumor regarding the release of Motorola DROID Bionic at Verizon Wireless, complemented by some info on the price tag the smartphone might sport when released.

Unlike previous rumors that suggested Verizon might be set to release the mobile phone before the end of the ongoing month, despite Motorola's official position that September is the release time frame, new info on DROID Bionic coming on September 8th has emerged.

According to a leaked MAP'D Devices list (minimum advertised price), the handset should indeed arrive on shelves eight days after September kicks off.

Moreover, the said list shows that Verizon should have it priced at $299 with the signing of a two year contract agreement, a piece of info that missed from previous reports.

The DROID Bionic was somehow expected to cost between $249 and $299, though we should say that the former price tag would have appealed more to us.

However, nothing was officially confirmed on the matter for the time being, and chances are that the actual price tag would indeed be $50 lower that what the aforementioned list shows.

As for the off contract cost for DROID Bionic, while previous rumors suggested that it might be of $587, new evidence emerged on it being actually set at $589.99.

Since Verizon usually has smartphones priced at $XX9.99, it would make more sense for the $589.99 off contract cost to be attached to Motorola DROID Bionic as well, the guys over at Droid-life note.

A high-end smartphone that will pair Google's Android operating system with Verizon's 4G LTE network, the DRIOD Bionic should boast impressive hardware specs when made available for purchase.

A large 4.3-inch touchscreen display should be included in the mix, along with a fast dual-core application processor, an 8-megapixel photo snapper, microSD memory card slot, great connectivity options, and support for a wide range of mobile services and applications.
