14 DAY TRIAL // DROID Bionic is one of the upcoming Android-based Motorola devices at Verizon Wireless, already official, but with no specific release date attached to it as of yet.
Rumor has it that it might be launched as soon as August 4th, and there is even a dedicated page for the mobile phone up on Verizon Wireless' website, but nothing was announced on its exact availability.
Moreover, some of the latest rumors suggested that the handset might cost $300 on contract when made available, based on an allegedly leaked screenshot of Verizon's website, which is said to be fake.
However, it seems that the mobile phone might indeed make an appearance on the market in the not-too-distant future, as accessories for it have already started to emerge at various retailers.
Currently, Amazon lists two accessories for the upcoming mobile phone, namely a car dock and a desktop dock.
It is not unusual for mobile phones to be accompanied by various car docks, and the one that will hold your DROID Bionic when you are driving in your car is similar with all others.
As for the desktop dock, things are a little different. The device comes with 3.5mm audio out, HDMI output and USB ports, as can be seen in the second photo attached to this article.
The image will also show the back of DROID Bionic, which resembles a lot with what was rumored to have been included with another device from Motorola, namely Targa.
Unfortunately, while these accessories do confirm that the availability of DROID Bionic is near, they do not offer specific info on when the device might arrive on shelves.
Hopefully, Verizon and Motorola will indeed make the new device available for purchase in the near future, and the carrier's customers will be able to enjoy another highly-appealing LTE-capable smartphone, in addition to the currently available HTC ThunderBolt, Samsung DRIOD Charge and LG Revolution.
