The development team at Valve is offering a new update for DOTA 2, which introduces a number of changes linked to game balance and fixes bugs that the player base has reported.

The official update text from Valve reads: “This update has improved how Dota 2 is setup on your machine and will provide a significantly faster load time for most players. As a result of these changes, the update may take a while to download.”

The full long change list is available in the official announcement from the development team.

The biggest balance modification is linked to magical damage and the way it relates to bonuses from different sources.

DOTA 2 is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena that’s currently in beta stage and should be officially launched before the end of the year.
