Video game developer Valve has announced that it has launched a new update for its own DOTA 2 MOBA title, which changes a number of game aspects and also introduces a new character named Meepo to the game.

The core gameplay ability for Meepo will be to create clones of himself, which could lead to situations where six versions of the character are active at the same time.

Playing as the new characters will be hard even for seasoned DOTA 2 players because gamers need to make sure that they take into account all the positions of the clones.

DOTA 2 is at the moment in closed beta stage and Valve is looking for feedback on both the game mechanics and the characters from the player base.

The patch notes for DOTA 2 include a significant list of changes that can be seen in full on the official website of the game.
