The development team at Valve launches a new patch for their MOBA title DOTA 2, which brings a fix that the player community has been asking for for a long time and should improve the long-term enjoyment of the game.

The full change log for the new patch consists of just one line:

“Diretide Fixes - The Sugar Rush defeat-Roshan timer now begins when 20 minutes have elapsed, even if the game is currently tied.”

The very nature of the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena genre means that developers need to keep an eye out on their games at all times and make sure that they move quickly to fix problems that the fan base has reported.

If they don’t do that, they risk seeing their longtime players move to rivals like League of Legends.
