There is a media frenzy going on at the moment over the Michael Jackson illegitimate son scandal, as media outlets everywhere are scrambling to determine whether the shocking DNA tests results that were revealed yesterday are real or made up.

TMZ claims to have found the Achilles heel in this entire story, revealing it as a publicity stunt and a fabrication, since they can't trace the actual lab in Ireland that performed the tests in which it was revealed that the late pop star and a 31-year-old singer by the name of Brandon Howard shared a father-son relation.

In a press conference on Thursday, March 7, FilmOn director Alki David, revealed to the entire world that he had conducted DNA tests which indicated a 99.9% compatibility between Michael Jackson and Brandon Howard, thus proving without any shred of doubt that Brandon was the son of the late King of Pop.

The trouble is that the claimed lab that performed the test, which was said to be located in Ireland, doesn't seem to exist, or at least can't be located through conventional means. Also, TMZ points out that the logo for the lab which is presented in a photo of the test results, looks suspiciously like the logo from the movie “Terminator: Salvation.”

In addition, they claim that the pattern for the DNA paternity test results was lifted off Google Images, and they provide photographic evidence of the similarities between the official document and a sample from the Boston Paternity Clinic.

It should also be mentioned that Brandon Howard, the man who possesses an uncanny resemblance to Michael Jackson as far as looks, voice and mannerism go, has spoken out on his Facebook account in a video, distancing himself from this entire investigation.

He claims that he never proclaimed himself of being Jackson's son, illegitimate or otherwise, nor is he interested in the results of the test or in challenging the dead singer's estate.

There was wide speculation that Howard, the son of gospel singer Miki Howard who used to tour with Michael and also was represented by his father, Joe Jackson, was the illegitimate child the King of Pop referred to in his song “Billie Jean.”

As the lyrics go, Michael can be heard singing “Billie Jean's not my lover … but the kid is not my son.” It was a known fact that Miki used to be called “Billie” by those who knew her in the 80s, something which started speculation about a possible illegitimate child.
